Dr. Melissa A. Bartoszewski, DC

Dr. Bartoszewski is a native of Syracuse, New York with over 11 years of experience.  Her undergraduate biology degree was completed at Le Moyne College (2008) in Syracuse; She then graduated in 2012 from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. She consecutively made the Dean's List and was a member of the NYCC Phi Chi Omega Honor Society.  Dr. Bartoszewski was the lead chiropractic mentor at Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester, NY, which provided chiropractic services to the aging population with multiple comorbidities, including Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injuries, AND Cerebral Palsy.

Dr. Bartoszewski is passionate about helping people get out of pain naturally,  with evidence-based chiropractic care and whole food nutrition.  each patient at stumptown chiropractic receives individualized, one-on-one care. hELPING YOU FEEL BETTER, SO YOU CAN MOVE BETTER IS DR. B’S GOAL.

Dr. Bartoszewski is no stranger to back pain. Ironically, her symptoms started during chiropractic school. She understands chronic pain on a personal level and can understand how depressing it can be. she has undergone numerous spinal injections and treatments and understands the importance of staying active, strength training and nutritional health.

previously, she had a successful practice in downtown Dallas, Texas, before relocating to Oregon in 2015.

She enjoys photography, camping, tennis, weightlifting, running and completed a half marathon.  On the weekends you can find her hiking, AT PDX STREngth, playing tennis or volunteering.

Dr. Bartoszewski is licensed to practice chiropractic in OREGON. In JANUARY 2018, SHE COMPLETED A 12 HOUR COURSE TITLED: THE CLINICAL COMPANION TO FIX YOUR OWN BACK.COM; WHICH HELPED FURTHER HER EVALUATION AND TREATMENT OF LUMBAR DISC INJURIES. Dr. B ATTENDED THE MCKENZIE method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy, part a: LUMBAR SPINE course in 2018 and part b, cervical and thoracic spine in 2019.

she was on the st. johns neighborhood association board from 2015-2018. she is a former member of the st. johns center for opportunity business development committee. SHe is an active member of the St. Johns Business Booster.
